Product Description:
Also known as silica insulation bricks. More than 91% of silica, with a bulk density of 1.2g/cm3 or less, is a lightweight refractory material. The refractoriness and load softening temperature are similar to ordinary silica bricks with the same composition. However, due to many pores, the compressive strength, slag resistance, and corrosion resistance are not as good as those of ordinary silica bricks, but the thermal shock resistance is improved.
Light weight silica brick
Using finely divided silica as a raw material, its critical particle size usually does not exceed 1 mm, and particles smaller than 0.5 mm therein are not less than 90%. The flammable substances are added to the ingredients or a porous structure is formed by a gas generation method and is obtained by firing. Can also be made without burning products. It is mainly used in all parts of the kiln that require heat insulation or lighter weight without direct contact with the melt, from aggressive gases, and without rapid temperature changes. Used at high temperatures and cannot be contacted with basic refractory materials. According to different materials, the maximum use temperature is 1200 ~ 1550 °C.

Details:
1. Made by flint clay clinker and binder,through Crushing,Mixing,Shaping,Drying and high temperature Sintering.
2. Al2O3 content is 30%-48%,SiO2 content is 50%-65%,and a small number of alkali metals,alkaline earthmetal oxides TiO2,Fe2O3 etc.3.Working temperature:less than 1350°C.
Application:
It is widely used as a primary hot face refractory lining or as back-up insulation behind other refractory in furnace(such as carbon furnace, cracking furnace, heating furnace for oil refining, roller kiln, tunnel kiln.), flues, refining vessels, heaters, regenerators and similar high temperature industrial equipment.
Quality Assurance
The quality assurance system consists of the following steps:
a. Inspection and Control of incoming raw materials:According to the chemical content,raw materials are classified into different levels to ensure quality of brick first.
b. Inspection and control of the process:During the production,every brick will be weighed twice strictly to reduce the error of weight .
c. Inspection of product Standardization of quality of each product by process control and experimentation.
d. Taking corrective measures whenever deviations are noted.
e. Quality audit by quality management.Before delivery, the inspectors will inspect the size,appearance,physical and chemical properties of brick again in factory.
Packing of Insulating brick: Standard export wooden pallet with cardboard.
Shipping of Insulating brick: By vessel or by train from any Chinese port,
