    Refractory castables are used to replace refractory bricks in monolithic linings in all types of furnaces and kilns. They can be classified as follows: standard, medium cement content, low cement, ultra low cement, insulating castables, applied either by casting or by gunning.

    These castables can be made from different materials such as heavy chamottes, andalusites, bauxites, mullites, corundum, tabular alumina, silicon carbide, or light weight chamottes, perlite and vermiculite for insulation purposes. According to your processes and your conditions of use, we will be able to give you customized prescriptions and competitive quotations.

    Standard / Medium Cement castables with high alumina cement can be used within temperatures from 1300oC up to 1800oC. They have good thermal shocks, good mechanical and chemical resistances such as for abrasion, chemical corrosion and physical wear.
